Snake Diet
Snake diet would usually depend on their size and their kinds. This I am saying because there are different snakes that eat different animals and reptiles. The snakes that live in the deserts usually eat small lizards and other animals and birds that nest either on the ground or the bushes. But the snakes that are living in the tropical forests usually eat larger birds and animals.
A good e.g. would be that of the boa or the python and even the Anaconda. The python or the Anaconda is capable of devouring even deer or a crocodile but the same would not be of those living in the deserts.
So eating and taming should go hand in hand before you think of petting them. Try and remember that snakes should be petted when they are very small. This is because the more they remain with you the better for you. They would recognize you and would not attack you. So make sure you bring the non venomous one, since they would not cause much harm. But on the contrary the venomous one would cause havoc.
Though taming or petting a snake would be a good idea, still I would not say a very good idea but ya something unique and different. But there are some points that should be take care of, before you pet them. First of all try and consult an expert on which type of snake you need to move on with. Also make sure that you check the authenticity of the expert before you take any further step. Remember the snake that you tame would determine the food and the diet of the snake.
A heavy snake as the boa or the python would be good choice but they would also require large diet at regular periods. If not then I am sure you would be the first in your neighborhood to have a domestic snake bite.
Make sure you know what would be the best time for the snake to be fed and see that the snake is always full. This would be better for you since they would not be aggressive and would always act in a friendly manner. They would also not get irritated due to hunger.
See that you make arraignments for different diet every day, remember that these are not the regular pets and would eat different meals in their original atmosphere.
This would prevent them from being hungry, as they would love to eat different food like we do. So make sure you abide by their requirement.
