Snakes just like the crocodiles and lizards belong to the reptile family, but are slightly different from them as they don’t have their arms and legs, like most of the other reptiles. And top of that they are used to maintain and regulate their body temperature and heat by the nature and behavior. These are usually cold blooded creature and take the help of the sun and heat for digesting their eat.

However, there are some 2500 snake species that are living with us on this planet. There are some, living in those places that even we would not like to live and reside, like for e.g. those deserts and those barren dry valley and mountain for e.g. the Death Valley almost similar to a live heating pan or an overheated oven.

And the same is with those tiny baby snakes too. Even they adapt and adjust themselves like their elders according to the environment, in which they are given birth. But their upbringing is slightly different as compared to other reptiles and their counterparts. This is because they are independent from the time they are born and their mother’s responsibility comes to an end just by delivering them. No doubt, they have the same way of delivery as most of the mammals. But this would really seem to be very cruel to these tiny toddlers who just don’t know anything when they exit their mother’s womb.

Generally, they have always been thought to be venomous but the fact is something different. There are some snakes that are venomous and there are some that are not. And one can easily recognize these venomous snakes because of their long and sharp fangs. These could be the first signs to show that these snakes are venomous, while there other counterparts who are non venomous are not so.

There are some snakes such as the Boa or the Reticulated Python and even the Anaconda that give birth to their young one. But there are some other snakes like the rattle snake, the king cobra and the Gabon Vipers who lay eggs which are hatched under the supervision of their mothers. But here also they are made to look and fend for themselves as soon as they are born. But they grow very fast and soon learn to protect and care for themselves. This sounds very cruel but hey that the way they are made and some even say that they are perfect e.g. for the quote “built to kill”.
